Sarcoma represents 15% of all cases of childhood cancer, and is the second most deadly type of childhood cancer. With over 50 subtypes of Sarcoma, this disease remains deeply under funded.
Andrew Sarcoma Foundation (ASF) was started by our founder Andrew Elsaid, who at the young age of 25 was diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue Sarcoma. So that no other Sarcoma patient has to be told “there is no cure”, Andrew hoped to raise awareness for Sarcoma cancer and fund enough research to develop cures for all 50 Sarcoma subtypes.
Sarcoma has been known as “the forgotten cancer”. For Andrew and the thousands of other patients diagnosed with Sarcoma each year with grim diagnoses and little hope - let’s change that.
At ASF our mission is to advance research and raise awareness for Sarcoma. Learn more about this mission and how you can help.
